IDEAL 5255
The IDEAL 5255 is a powerful, electronically controlled stack cutter with a cutting length of 520 mm – ideal for formats up to DIN A3+ and high cutting volumes. Developed for professional users in print finishing, copy shops and corporate printing, it combines precision, safety and productivity at the highest level.
The patented EASY-CUT controls ensure comfortable, ergonomic two-stage cutting activation. The backstop is electrically controlled via a touchpad, which offers intuitive operation in several languages as well as a digital measurement display (cm/inch) with 1/10 mm accuracy. Up to 99 programs with 99 steps each can be saved – ideal for repetitive cutting tasks.
The equipment also includes pre-programmed DIN formats, freely definable memory buttons, an integrated calculator and the EJECT function. The electronic handwheel allows manual fine adjustments of the saddle position - steplessly from fast to exact. The knife and pressure bar operate electromechanically, with the return stroke occurring automatically after each cut.
Safety is the focus: The SCS – Safety Cutting System protects with a transparent safety device on the front table, rear safety cover, main switch, lock, 24-volt control and disc brake for immediate blade stop. The blade is changed tool-free and safely via a device with a covered cutting edge.
Made of a robust all-metal construction, the IDEAL 5255 is designed for long-term use under heavy loads. With a standard base, paper shelf, tool holder and stacking angle, it is ready for immediate use - sustainably produced in Germany.
